I keep saying I don't want to start a new soap, but this is the news that may change my mind.  Any OLTL watchers here that can share their thoughts on the soap?

And Maura West is moving to Y+R.

Maybe it will be time for soap surfing.  In the past, none of them have ever grabbed me very much.  Guess we'll see what happens.

Yeah, I think I'm done with soaps.  After my experience with ATWT, which I consider a worthy heir to GL (probably why it got cancelled -- they don't like good soaps...), I don't think I'll try again.  Other soaps have just irritated me with their incredibly bad acting and stupid storylines.  I guess if you grow up with a soap the stupid storylines are just lovable and eccentric like your favorite old great aunt.  But when you hit it cold it's like "why am I wasting my time?"

Glad KZ got some work.  I might watch a clip on You Tube just to see her perform a different role than Reva.

I feel the same was as you, KK -- 5 days a week is too much for me to commit to another show. I watched ATWT and GL all growing up, but I don't want to invest that much in another soap. Plus, since I don't have TV anymore, it's all I can do to keep up with the episodes of ATWT online.

And all the actors are dispersing to different shows -- seems the vast majority are going to Y&R, but I feel like I'd have to watch everything to follow all the old ATWT/GL folks, and who knows what their characters will be like, if they'll catch on, or how long they'll stay.

I am hoping to get to see Michael Park and Trent Dawson doing some Broadway, etc. But I'm going to leave the soaps alone.
