On Friday, I added the Comcast Sports tier, which gives me amoung other things NHL Network. NHL Network in the US simulcasts Hockey Night in Canada each & every Saturday, so as of this past Saturday, I am now a loyal viewer of HNIC! And wow, I was "treated" to Don Cherry at his very worst with his bizarre rants about Ovechkin & the Red Wings! I have to admit, while he is embarassing, its kinda like watching a trainwreck, & I just find myself busting out laughing at his gibberish! But on the whole, I love the entire package, from the 6:30 pregame, to the Hot Stove & of course Coaches Corner & the post game wrap ups! I feel like an honouary Canadian! biggrin

Welcome to the fold, JoelC!! You'll have to stay up late for the western game that starts at 10pm your time. Don Cherry is the time for a bathroom break. It's a known fact that water consumption goes up during Coach's Corner!
Now if we could just get you a Timbit and a Molson's you'd be set.

Well, you know EXACTLY how I feel aboooot Cherry. The guy is a bigot and needs to go. I love HNIC, Hughson is the best pbp guy in the business and Simpson complements him. Hrudey is great at breaking down plays and he has a good personality to go with it. The hot stove lounge is entertaining, Milbury needs to stop playing to the camera so much but overall he's fun. LeBrun is good and because he's rational and professional he really makes Strachan look like a twit although he doesn't need much help in that department. PJ Stock...well how on earth did he ever get a job with them?

I love TSN as well, James Duthie is a fantastic host, he's hilarious but also keeps things moving. Bob McKenzie is the most connected hockey guy on the planet and he's cool. I'm going to miss Tortorella for sure but they bring in Keith Jones, Pierre McGuire, Darren Pang and others to keep things hopping.

Just hurry up and get your laptop!

We get games from TSN during the week as well.....I agree with what you said about thier package. Its just nice seeing coverage the way its supposed to be & not dumbed down like some of our coverage in the states is.
