According to Soap Central, Michelle Bauer is returning to SF in late April or Early May.

Lets hope they bring Ed Bauer back also.

I miss the Bauer kitchen with all the gatherings, heart to hearts, goofy humor and connections.  The Bauers were the foundation of Guiding Light.

I just about had a heart attack when I read that article and saw the picture of Nancy St. Alban.  I thought it meant she was coming back.

AACCKKKKK!!!

But then I read further and saw, to my great relief, that she is NOT coming back!!   Yahoo!!!  But I was shocked to read that she was considered very popular.  Hm.

I'm all for a return of Michelle, as long as it's someone completely new.

You and me both, kfc.
The mere thought of NSA coming back put me off my lunch!  I'm hoping when/if Michelle comes back, she is a widow who has regained her brain and personality.
If I had to choose, I 'd rather have the Bauer kitchen than Ms. Bauer.  Springfield needs a cozy, welcoming place that isn't Company or M&M's house with the nasty table cloth.

I have to admit, some of the stuff between Michelle and Danny, when Michelle was Joie Lentz, I loved.  In the early days when Michelle was forced to marry him.  I never ever liked NSA or her version of Michelle, or basically NSA with anyone.  Once NSA took over, I was pretty much done with Danny too because it just wasn't the same anymore.

ITA about the Bauer kitchen, and it just hit me.

GL has been missing the warmth of the Bauer house set. It has been a staple in SF for the entire run of the show. The dinners, argument, the BBQ (not the disaster that we saw last year), revelations of deaths, infidelty etc. that set was the audience center of focus. What do we have now Mallet and Marina's boring home with their mediocre plot?

The Bauers need to become part of the central families again on the show. The viewers have been asking this for years. Now bring back Ed or even Mike, Hope or Meta.

I can't agree more, Tony.

When they finally got around to painting the house, they couldn't have done a worse job.  It is dull, dark and uninviting.  I'm sure they were trying to create another family kitchen like the Bauers, since they had no Bauers for which to bring back the kitchen, but they couldn't have done a worse job.
