Today's photos of the Queen have her standing between the Obama's. Her height is barely over either of their shoulders. I've never seen her looking so short. How tall is Michelle Obama?
According to google, Queen Elizabeth is 5'4" and Michelle Obama is 5'10 3/4. I think that the Queen has probably 'shrunk' from that height as she is over 80 years old.
Then add shoes into the mix. Michelle can wear a nice heel because her husband is tall. Where as, someone who is 80+ would be unlikely to wear very much of a heel. .............. When it comes to royalty, are their manners or protocol about something like this when in the presence of the queen?
I haven't seen that picture yet, but my husband was telling me about it. What would that etiquette be, cut off Michelle at the knees? LOL! I suppose they could do some kind of sitting thing, but I think the Obamas probably sit tall as well. The queen needs a box to stand on!
