I would like a reliable phone service with good reception, reasonable rates which hopefully include long distance to Canada and conscientious customer service. Any suggestions?
Actually, around 6:00 PM TWO Charter techs showed up at my place to figure out what is going on. One of them was the original tech who did the originial conversion. I was not at all sure I wanted to see him but here we all were! And: They figured it out! They gave me a little pep talk on phone cables. The red and green wires are for the phone line. The black and yellow wires are for the internet + computer service. The hookups were thoroughly explained. They wired to fix the puter saying the phone may not work as a result but once the puter was back on DSL (YES!), they were also able to fix the phone. Happy day!
Sooooo, I'm feeling as if I've gotten one of my lives back and am a very happy happy. YAY!
With the calling plan that goes with this, we can talk on the phone as if we were right next door. Besides, lately, my winters have been better than your winters.
