Cool. We see them all the time, our Tom called the wild hens in but they can't get over the fence to become "Friendly" with Tom. How fun , yeah, are they gonna be dinner?
That's really neat! Have you ever had turkeys wander in before? The only turkeys I ever encounter (with the exception of some humans I know!) are the kind in a wrapper with Butterball on the label!!
Ms. Dinner is either watching her figure, belongs to weight watchers, is too busy watching out after her family or all of the above. A couple of years ago, I had a hen with 4 small youngsters. They were about the size of ducks. We have turkeys in the general area and every once in a while you get to see them in some place or another. It's a treat to see them in my own back yard.
