We're fine. Watched a pretty wild storm from my parents house and once it had passed, I drove the kids to their father's house on the way home. There were large trees down everywhere, power outages and no traffic lights, but nothing major. There were tornadoes that did touch down north of Toronto. When you sent your message, the storm was travelling east towards my cottage where my grandma and my aunt and my brother's family are staying. I'm hoping all is okay there because they were under a tornado watch.
I've felt numb to it all today... a little in a blur. My poor cat had to be put to sleep early this mornning. I didn't realize that he was sick until it was too late, he went into kidney failure and I had to let him go at 2am.
Gracious! With all those power outages, it's a wonder you can post! Thankfully you and your children are ok. Please let us know when you've reached your family and how things are with them.
So sorry about your kitty. This is very sad. Cats have to be good at masking their illnesses. It is very important for them to be able to do this. They cannot appear vulnerable to any potential predators. It's instinctual.
