Could I possible find a volunteer who could record this last month of shows and put them on DVD for me.
We got a new HDTV last summer and cause we are cable, cannot connect the VCR to it (sucks only coming partially into the digital age). If we run the cable through the VCR to get to the TV, it degrades the signal and the HD channels won't come through. We will go dish and get TIVO when we build our new house, but don't want to mess with it in this one. So I have been keeping up with the show with daily recaps and this message board. Plus an episode here and there with holidays or home sick.
But with the show ending and all the veterans returning for bit parts (I did get to see the 4 musketeers together on the 4th), I would like to try to capture the last 4 weeks or so on DVD.
So, If anyone with TIVO (or whatever technology at their disposal) could put together the "SPECIAL LAST AIRINGS" collection, I would be happy to compensate for your time and effort.
Meggie, I would be happy with VCR tapes. The DVD/VCR is hooked up to the TV so that I can play stuff, its just that the cable doesn't run through it so I can't record.

KarenGa, I've been doing a 'best of' tape, deciding after each episode if I'll keep it or not. I haven't been keeping all the episodes(Marina & Mallet are only on tapes because Phillip is) but I'll try to do that from now on. I don't know if you post on other boards, but some of the bigger boards have folks that record everything. I might be worth asking.
Paris does look a bit like Hayden P. Daphne is losing her HenryV111 looks with the blonde curls coming in. She reminds us of the old Gerber baby.
Meggie, your "best of" collection sounds good to me. I'm not really interested in all of it either, just some scenes of the returning veterens like Ed, Holly, Philip, Jonathan, and I hear we are even supposed to get a suprise from Fletcher. I'm also kinda interested in the Billy/Vanessa romance, always did like them together; and in how it turns out with Bill/Lizzie. Olivia/Natalia story bores me, but I tolerate it.
So, whatever you deem "keep worthy" will suit me just fine. I'll make it worth your while.

They have all the episodes on there with the benefit of no commercials. Is there a way to download from Youtube?
There's a poster named RoseVioletDaisy that posts the episodes on rapidshare but I can't find the link at the moment. I'll post it as soon as I find it.
I can't get y-tube on my work computer (blocked) and haven't had time at home to explore that possibility. Hubby is leaving town next week, maybe will have some time to see how that all works then.
