Let's not forget to remember our heroes of September 11, 2001 and those that are still fighting for freedom today. You are always in our hearts and prayers.
As always, thinking of you, Tony. And all the others who lost loved ones eight years ago.
I teach elementary kids and they were either not born or too young to know about 9/11. My son's a senior in high school and he was in fourth grade when it happened. That's about the last grade where they would remember and understand the significance of what happened. I was at the school that day -- two planes went out of Boston and we didn't know if any parents might have been on them. Such a horrible, scary day!
It must have been a powerful day for you. When they started showing the recaps I had to turn off the TV and was in a glum mood for most of the day.
In another post you said some beautiful things about our friendships and connections here. We, our Soap Yard family, is one of our blessings in life. I never thought something like this could happen over the net, but here we are! Amazing!
