It was always there for me throughout all the changes and moves in my life. It connects five generations of my family. My mother listened to it beginning at age 2.
To the Four Musketeers! To Josh and Reva! Always! To lighthouses and blended families and illogical plotlines (Daisy got into Berkeley?!!! I'd sue if I were them!). To Frank, Rick, and Matt finding ladies.
Thank you Guiding Light for a lifetime of stories and for leading me to these friends.
You feel like eating one or you feel like you ARE one? I felt like roadkill myself after watching Thursday and Friday's episodes. The "The End" at the finale was like the Mack truck that flattened this raccoon.

Ok, that was too too hard. Even with the stories that were left hanging, I loved the ending. And I love that it ended with Reva telling Josh, ALWAYS! When the first started Friday's show, I thought, yeah they are leaving it open for a reunion show, but then came the year later and it all came together for what was important. Yes, I though it was special of them to bring the 4 musketeers back together and sweet that they got Frank and Blake together. And good ole Fletcher, they even came up with a reason to bring him back. Missed not seeing Rusty tight jeans but guess you can't have it all. It is a shame they couldn't bring Harley back for a visit but I guess contracts with other networks preclude that, lol. I didn't even mind seeing Michelle again!
There will definitely be a whole left by that show leaving for those of us who have watched over the decades...even in earlier years when I stopped watching due to work, I was able to come right back into it again. Sighhhhhhhhhhh
