Your always sharing your backyard friends with us, so I thought I'd tell you what has been visiting my backyard ( and is still out there sunning himself) today. I don't have a picture yet, But this coyote is beautiful. He has been out there for over an hour at this point. Since the week long power outage they have been coming back ( stole our food) but have never stayed this long and during the day too.. I'll post a pic when I get them back, Wish my digital still worked.
Be very very careful and don't ever loose your complete respect for what a coyote can do.
This week, in a neighboring suburb here, a coyote attacked a tethered Basset Hound in its back yard. The owner managed to rush her pet to the animal hospital but it died.
You may have heard of the 19 year old singer who was killed by two coyotes this week while hiking in Nova Scotia.
You aren't Kidding!! I took the picture through the screen window of my house. He was out there all day, He was even napping on the lawn at one point.. In the middle of the day!!! I had to go get in my car to get my daughter off the school bus.
