Congrats JoelC on your Panthers beating the Wings! Good game... The next night was bad though. The Wings beat the Canadiens but lost Kronwall to a knee injury for possibly 6 to 8 weeks due to Georges Laraque being a goon. The Wings play tomorrow and they have a lot of guys out with injuries. How's your team doing Joel? I do not get to see much of them. Meggie I see reports and some games with Vancouver due to watching HNIC. Good to see Luongo back!
I've been away and am really just getting back watching hockey. The team went 11-7 without Daniel Sedin and seem to be putting out a good effort most nights. I think the team is finally healthy so we'll see if they can get some wins before the Olympic break. Luongo is getting stronger every game.
That George Laraque hit was terrible. Those knee-on-knee hits should mean automatic big suspensions.
Thanks! That was a stunning win....our 1st at the Joe since 1996 & on the same trip they won in Buffalo & in NY. They seem to have turned a corner after a horrid start that I'm sure had to do with thier overseas trip to open the season. Tonight my 2 teams face each other....always tough to decide whether to root for the Panthers or the Pens.
By the way, I am totally hooked on HNIC now......we only get the early game on NHL Network, but the pregame show, Coaches Corner, Hotstove & all those ceremonies at the Air Canada Centre are so much better than anything our US networks offer. (and yes, meggie, I am still amused & entertained by old "Grapes"! LOL)
