Love it! We all have our "addictions". I love my computer too.
But even at 81, my children do not want to talk about "what is to come" with me. However, I DO have a living will, pre-funeral arrangements, etc. I just consider it planning ahead, they think it morbid.
Hello, my name is meggie and I'm a computer addict too.
Good for you justJo, to have all that in place. I'm not sure how it works in the US, but in Canada everyone should have an enduring power of attorney in place. This is different from a regular power of attorney, as it stays in place if you are mentally incapable. Be sure your 'agent' has power over your real estate as well so your house can be sold if necessary. Obviously, be very careful to whom you give tis power.
The other document you need is a 'representation agreement' so the person you name can make medical decisions for you. Most people assume your spouse or family member can act for you but in many circumstances, they can't without a 'representation agreement'.
Hi I'm Liz and I am a computer adict. Pass the Merlot. Is that road kill hors Ouderves? How do you spell horse ovaries in French? Wait, I'll google it. BRB LOL
