We are. We had off and on heavy rain with lots of wind all day long. The streets were filled with monstrous puddles which my car didn't like. The ground is frozen and unable to absorb the water. However, had this been snow, we would have gotten 2 1/2 feet of the stuff. So, thank you very much for the rain!
How miserable can one be when you are inside baking a blueberry pie with a crumb topping? Like Jack said on ATWT today...It's fruit.
I did one errand and felt bad for the people who must go to work in stormy weather (Was thinking of you KK) but when I finally was enjoying a piece of the pie, those concerns weren't exactly dominating my thoughts.

The water finally soaked into the backyard. Yesterday it looked like a lake out there. If it had frozen, we would have had an awesome rink, but maybe not so awesome for poor Kayla. We're mostly down to ground again but I wouldn't mind for a bit of a freeze to harden the mud. Wow, if yesterday had been snow I think we'd be still digging out from the Blizzard of '10.
