This is unbelievable! My basement is still dry, but for some reason I came home to find the pilots out on my furnace and hot water heater. grrrrr!!!! What's up with THAT?! I believe this is now the rainiest month in my lifetime -- I think the other storms that beat it happened back in the '50's before I was born.

It does look like Kayla, doesn't it? No, it's a google image search, "Puppy Spring". I just thought it WOULD have been Kayla if she were a yellow lab and I had a digital camera when we got her!

I saw that in Rhode Island, there is a mall with 2 feet of water in it. Yikes!

Amanda, that mall in Warwick, RI, is just a mess! Think of all the business and merchandise lost.

We still have water coming in, but it's under control with pumps. The problem is, we have to monitor the pumps because if the water goes too low, the pumps will burn out. My poor husband has been awake for 2 days trying to bail us out. We got our heat back! Here's to blues skies and DRY weather pattern!!! Bring on the brush fires, LOL!
