I came here expecting there to be lots of chatter about all the happenings on GL!

Can you believe Philip is almost home?!  Although it looks like his opening scene doesn't include a towel....

I've been catching up on Spoilers over at some of the other sites, sounds like some good times coming!

I'm pretty much enjoying nu Shane.  And I like the idea of him with Dinah, although I'm sure that at some point there will be a big switcheroo and Shane and Marina will reunite as will Mallet and Dinah.  Can't say that I'm unhappy about that, Marina and Mallet are about as dull as you can get!  I can't believe they're a real life couple because I see zero on screen chemistry between them.

I liked Reva and Jeffrey for a while, but they have also achieve the Dull title for me now.  I just wish they'd get on with the Jeva reunion.  It seems like Reva and Jeffrey and Josh are always together anyway, it won't take anythng to squeeze ol' Jeffie out.

I'm really enjoying GL lately.  It feels like our old soap is back!

You can guess how excited I am about Philip coming back!!  party.gif  can't wait!!!!!

ITA agree with your comments, kfc with the exception of Marina.  She just doesn't have any chemistry with anyone, I'd like to see Dinah back with Mallet too.NUShayne is a great new addition and has fit in seamlessly.  I like him with Dinah too and so far like them as friends.

Reva and Jeffrey have become so dull.  I've loved Reva since Alan brought her to town, but this too cutesy, silly Reva is dreadful.  Reva was always the person with the big heart who was a momma bear about her children but also was very accepting and forgiving.  The only time she seems to have any spark now is when she's with Josh.  I like your idea of squeezing ol' Jeffie out!!

Isn't it fun to watch GL again!!??

10%? LOL! I'm guessing that was a typo!

I'm not ready to squeeze ol' Jeffie out of anything!!!

But Marina and Mallet are soo soo soo boring, but as you all know I am waiting for Marina and Cyrus to reunite. Since apparently one day of Cyrus and Lizzie is all I'm getting. (Heh.)

But yes, Mallet and Dinah belong together!

AND I LOOOOOOVE REMY AND CHRISTINA. They are by far my favorite thing to watch on GL lately.

10 %?! Jeez, Joel, kinda critical! :D

I'm loving GL these days. My son and I actually watch it in the evenings now. I can't remember the last time I wanted to watch GL in the evenings. It's been a VERY long time!

I like the new Shayne -- he kind of reminds me of a young George Clooney. Something about his hair and the set of his jaw and eyes. He's certainly not the nitwit they sent off to Bosnia, LOL!

Well I guess I am just going to have to start watching again.  When is Philip's first day?

KK, I was thinking about you watching GL with your son.  I was watching it tonight with Emily and she turns to me and says "you know, Mommy, Guiding Light really is a good show!".  Sniff... so proud of my baby!  I told her that I had been about her age when I started watching and that I hoped GL was still around when she is my age.

She also sat with me the other day while I watched a rerun of Friends.  She said at the end "This is a really good show, Mommy.  Is it new? Can we record the next episode?!"

Well, KFC, you are obviously a very good mother, teaching your children all about your family viewing traditions, LOL!  awwMy younger son has gone off on a mission trip for February vacation and I'll be left watching GL alone.  It's SO much more fun to watch with him!!!  And when his brother comes home from college, it's a regular GLFest around here. party.gifbiggrin

Today is a holiday but Emily has to be with her father, so she was a little bummed that I was going to watch without her!  But we can't wait til tonight because our "other" show is on when she gets home... The Bachelor.

But I'm glad I'm making another generation of GL viewer in my family!

I used to watch with my BIL when Kara was a baby. He passed when we were in Okinawa, but it took me years to get past thinking, I can't wait to ask Ralph about today's show....oh....Kara watched bits of it over the years, just enough to know the general gist of what was going on and when we were irked at someone. Now its just me but I got you all to compare notes with now! It really is better than it has been in a few years.
