I'm ready! I'm back to watching on an almost regular basis again. There has been much improvement in the show recently, and from everything I am reading, there is much to look forward to.
I don't see how anyone or anything can keep Philip and Beth from at least one more go-round. It's so great to have two characters with so much history back together again, even if I am annoyed with the current state of Beth. Maybe Philip can smack some sense into her!
I have to say though that as much as I love having Philip back, and as much as I love all the spoilers about all the old characters returning, I'm sorry to see that they had to kill off Coop to get there. It's unfortunate because they had a valid reason to take him out of Springfield, why not let him go off to Stanford and leave that door open (not that dead means dead anyway). He's a good actor, why kill him off when there are so many useless characters still hanging around?
I for one look forward to Philip and Beth reuniting. She's annoying as all get out, but I still think they belong together. I can't wait to see Bill and Lizzie back together as well. Have you noticed that Reva and Josh always seem to be together these days? Please give me my Jeva back!! And I can't wait to see the end of Mallet and Marina... zzzzzzz... wake me up when they're over...
I just started watching again after being away for years. So far, I like what I've seen of GL but I am so lost as far as new characters and actors! It was great to see Phillip again.
I'm not a fan of Beth either, but way back when, she WAS hired to play opposite GA. I think they still have wonderful chemistry together -- he brings out the best in her. At least so far, in the few scenes they've had together, she doesn't seem as histrionic as she does in so many of her scenes. It's as if GA has a calming influence on her; they seem very natural together (they've known each other a LONG time!).
It's funny to see Phillip with his "new" Lizzie. I also had to laugh that James is at Lincoln Prep. Isn't that where Phillip and his gang went back in the day? So James was having "problems"? Is it any wonder? LOL! The invisible, neglected child syndrome.
So as I try to catch up, am I to understand that some form of Jeffrey O'Neil/Prince Richard is still part of the show? He is one of the big reasons I stopped watching, that dude is one of the worst actors on the planet! And Reva is pregnant with his kid??? Whoa!!!
Karen, I agree with you about Beth and her chemistry with Phillip, but honestly, I laugh my butt off when I watch her. She's just such a spazz!
Yes Sammie, PodReva is still married to Jeffrey and carrying his child. They have become June and Ward O'Neill lately, with Jeffrey actually telling Reva she can't do something and she goes along with it. Either aliens have replaced Reva with this spineless imitation or the O'Neill spawn is sucking out her brain matter as it develops.

Oh that's just great. I swear, seeing him on my tv again might make me turn the show off forever. Just kill him off already!
Yeah, I have to say, Jeffrey has really grown on me (and no one say "like a fungus" ) since he quit womanizing, especially with the younger actresses. That was just creepy. I like Jeffrey and Reva together. It's fun to see Josh and Reva still having their chemistry but having to be apart. Jeffrey and Reva make a pretty nice couple, IMO. Sometimes Jeffrey has the only sane comments!
I'm another Jeffrey fan! And I think he's good for Reva. She's always going off half-****ed, and he usually lets her, but hasn't while she's been pregnant, which is probably wise of him. I'm sure Josh and Reva will end up together eventually, but I am not in any hurry for that to happen. Jeffrey and Reva are adorable together, and have a fairly drama-free relationship while still being interesting.
Yes, while I am not wild about Jeffrey, he has definitely "grown up" a lot and settled down a lot. He is good in the way they are writing him now and I don't even get ticked off at his acting any more. He is good with Reva, but then she can make almost anyone seem good.
I enjoyed the scene between Reva and Susan today. That would be hard for someone as young as her to have lost as many people as she has from her life, not to mention her natural mother being out of the picture as well. Reva and Buzz are about the only solids she's got. No wonder the kid gets confused!
