Thanks all :) Lovely wishes from good friends always make the heart smile :)
Amanda, as for plans? Well, this is the hardest time of the year for us and we've been swamped at work all month- one day my dr saw 45 patients! Lots of strep and flu... LOTS of flu. I had an after work educational meeting last night that ran late so I didn't get to bed til around 11 but I brought home a fabulous dinner to eat for lunch today (filet mignon that was so tender I could cut it with the side of my fork). Yumm!~ I had another inservice meeting this evening and ate another yummy dinner (Mahi mahi)
I arrived to work in time to catch my medical assistant hanging a Happy Birthday banner over the entry way to my office area, Yvonne (the other nurse) had made me a lemon bundt cake and one of the other gals brought icecream. I got a card signed by all of them and a cd of Aretha Franklin's greatest hits with the title song being "Respect" which was meant to encourage me as the team lead :) We were busy but not as bad as we have been many days... I almost got caught up with myself :P And there's only one day remaining between me and the weekend ;D
So all in all, it was a nice day in spite of how busy it's been. I sure am looking forward to the weekend, though...
Thanks again for sharing my birthday with me...may your wishes for me come true :)
Hi light! It sounds as if you had a fun and special birthday day at work. How nice. Here's wishing you many more extra special times for you with your sons throughout the coming year.
The Xsorbit mess definitely did not help but priorities are priorities. We had to have a designated home before I was out of commission. So here we are. We can evaluate the place and take it from there.
It's not a bad place and you have so much already up and running. It might just be something you need to click/unclick behind the wizard's curtain... and it has some nice features that the old board ddn't have.
