OK, I am officially sick of winter!

The "dusting" we were supposed to get last night turned into a bit of an ice storm and I'm back to skidding my way around on foot and in the car.  When I walk Kayla, her whole undercarriage gets caked with mud, ice, and road grit.  We bathed her before a vet appointment last week and you should have seen the dirt that was deposited in my bathtub!  YUCK!!!  Today the wind chill was bitter.  I'm so looking forward to walking outside without having to wear 5 layers of clothing.

Remember back in December, how excited I was for the first snow?  Well the honeymoon's WAY over!!!  evileye

THat is b/c you don't live where it snows 9 months out of the year. Snow sucks. Period. You don't have to shovel rain.

We never get enough snow to require a shovel. I'd be thrilled to even see 2 inches! Heck -- enough to see the ground white just one good time!

The ground has been white here since Christmas.  There are patches of grass where the sun hits it, but my entire backyard is still snow covered.  I love snow in the beginning, but by now it's wearing on me.  And snow doesn't bug me as much as all the ICE!!!

Amanda, I agree with you, if I only got 2 inches a year I would be sad.  I do like a good snowstorm, but enough is enough.  I'm tired of the colors white (snow) and brown (trees and mud).  I will truly appreciate spring!  :D

Unfortunately, when we do get any winter weather, it's almost ALWAYS ice. So, nothing is white, but everything is treacherous. Ice also increases the liklihood of power outages and stuff, too. If I can get one good snow, I am happy.

I have seen flurries a few times this winter, but it's always an anomaly that lasts maybe 10 minutes but never amounts to anything at all.

I'd rather have snow than rain any day. At least March is around the corner, it isn't all bad news!
