Paul Anthony Stewart and Nancy St. Alban are reprising their roles of Danny and Michelle on GL.
I, for one, am thrilled to have PAS back. I didn't much care for the direction Michelle's character went in while NSA was playing her -- although I don't fault NSA -- I mean, Michelle and Tony?! Remember that?
Anyway, I'm willing to give it a chance. These days I'll take anything on GL that doesn't send me rushing for my FF button. And PAS most definitely does not make me want to FF! So let's hope his story won't!
P.S. There were plans to recast Michelle, but those went out the window with the cancellation.
Speaking of the character of Michelle, Rebecca Budig was on "How I Met Your Mother" last night. I didn't recognize her at all! She was pretty funny. I liked her Michelle.
GL, GL, GL, what were you thinking?? You bring back DAM's Edmund, GA's Phillip, a great recast Shayne in Jeff Branson. You got rid of Cassie, no sign of the Aussie brothers, turned the focus on Dinah, returned Alan to his evil ways,brought some smiles with Bill & Lizzie, made Daisy tolerable, keep us glued to the tv with Otalia, and backburnered PodReva and Jeffarto.
Then you go and blow it all by bringing back the insufferable Manny?? What are you thinking? PAS, the worst cast mobster ever! NSA, vapid, bland, boring, and one-expression-fits-all. The choir-directing arm flailing and deer-in-headlights expression were sheer torture to watch, and don't get me started on the dancing!
I'm off to start another batch of Merlot. I think I'm going to need it!
Ok... I HATED NSA as Michele. Even in the short term, ANYONE would have been better as Michele. Period. Did I mention I HATED her as Michele?
Don't throw tomatoes at me Meggie... I liked Danny, glad to have him back for the end.
And, for pete's sake, when do I get my Jeva back!?!? I don't care what KZ wants, if you're taking away my GL, for me it's always been about Jeva, GIVE ME BACK MY JEVA!
LOL meggie! So I can assume you will not be too happy if the final scene ever on GL is a gum chewing Sweet Michelle & a teary eyed Danny singing a tender duet of GL's theme song "Only Love Can Save the World"? How about if right after the duet, a gun toting, very much alive Carmen FINALLY shoots her poor daughter-in-law to death? (I know, I know.....don't give them any ideas!)
.....AND then she falls off the cliff with Danny clutching the hem of her dress. Carmen tips the gun to the sky and blows the puf of smoke away. A sly smile slipps across her face, fade to black.....
I'll happily welcome Manny back and hope that Cyrus turns up soon with his recovering brother Grady.
And James. He can definitely stay.
If we're bringing back actors for a big farewell, how 'bout bringing back my man Tom Pelphrey! GL needs Jonathan and Lizzie definitely does, too. Bill and Lizzie were interesting once upon a time -- in a faraway land. Now I just don't get them and they bore me to tears.
PAS I liked but the mob was more than old. I can never see the Santos name anywhere (They are in abundance in a local community here) without thinking of the GL mob.

Amanda...looks like you're getting your wish...........Good news, GUIDING LIGHT fans! Soaps In Depth has learned that Tom Pelphrey is bringing Jonathan back to Springifeld! A show rep confirms that Pelphrey will be back on air mid-summer! No further details regarding his return were available
