I hope each of you will have a lovely Mother's Day and a sweet weekend, complete with contact with those loved ones who aren't living at your home. I'll be spending Mother's Day with my mom this year, something I don't normally get to do :)
Happy Mothers' Day, everyone! David and his girlfriend are up, so I get to have all my "kids" around me! We're going over to my parents' place -- Dad is the "chef pro tem" -- so it will be a nice family time.
After 4 evenings of rehearsals and the concert tonight I'll be happily hanging out at home and iris tending/weather permitting tomorrow. Someone might show up with a hanging plant. We'll see.
The concert is going to be FABULOUS! We're doing Carmina Burana. We are in fantastic shape. The tenors and bases pretty well knocked our socks off last night. We have a charming children's choir participating. The soprano soloist has a gorgeous voice. The music is energizing. The audience is going to love it!
Happy Mother's Day! We're on grandbaby watch and hoping there will be a new baby, and new mother for Mother's Day this year. Plans are for a lunch out on Sunday but the hospital cafeteria would be the ideal place.
