Pet names can be so interesting... I had an issue as a kid about naming my pets "common" names so my first dog was named Califa (which means Prince in Spanish). My second dog was named Gov'ner.
I had a deaf cat who used to do double summersaults and then race thru the house when she caught something out of the corner of her eye- and we called her Terri- short for "Holy Terror" LOL.
What are some of your favorite more unique names that you've chosen for your pets at home?
We had a stray cat move into our cellar and had her litter of kittens there. We named her Musetta. We were rehearsing for La Boheme at chorus at the time. Musetta was the second lead in the opera. She was a rather loose lady of the streets who freely took advantages for herself however she could find them.
'Terri' is amusing!

I grew up on a farm so had lots of animals around. Most of them had regular names including my dog Rusty who was named for my favourite book as a child, 'Rusty, a C-ocker Spaniel', but we did have a cat named Ding Dong. When she was a little kitten, she fell down the well. Fortunately, she didn't fall into the water, but between the side of the well and the concrete liner. My father and grandfather managed to get her out after several hours, and from then on she was Ding Dong after the nursery rhyme 'Ding Dong Bell, Pussy in the Well'. She lived to be 16 years old and used up all of her nine lives.
We also had a kitten named Moses. He got lost and we found him in the bullrushes.
