Kenry revisited?

So, Vienna is out of the picture for now (perhaps Simon will whisk her away when he arrives soon)--and Katie is going to be left alone to raise her little boy.  Is it possible?   Could it be?  Dare I hope?  Though Vienna and Henry were fun together I have always, in my heart, held out hope that he and Katie would find their way back to each other as a couple again, not just good friends.  I think their chemistry is SO good, that I would be delighted if this should come to pass.

Any other thoughts out there?

I can only watch very sporadically, so I haven't "met" Katie yet.  Now you've piqued my interest!  :D

Dear KarenK,

I know it's hard to follow every episode when you live a "real" life with family, jobs, social responsiilities, etc.  but if you get a chance, you can always follow the  stories with the episodes that are shown on the internet.  Katie is Brad's wife and was once married to Henry.  They have been bosom buddies for ten years when Henry first appeared (actually his first appearance was in November of 1999--soon to be a 10-year anniversary).  He was to be on for only those two weeks, but fans wrote in saying "where's Henry" so he was brought back from time to time allowing him to do theatre, since he wasn't on contract.  That contract didn't come until about four (?) years ago and now he is in story lines often.  Terri Columbino came on about that same time, but, as Margo's sister, she has been on pretty consistently.

This week has been a tense week since Katie was kidnapped and had her baby in a warehouse alone (except for her memories) and Brad has been shot.  If you get a chance to follow by taping or putting shows on DVD, you won't be disappointed.  Though I've been following ATWT for forever, I've managed to tape some of them, and particularly the Henry scenes.  Can you tell I'm a true-blue Trent fan?  I think he's a terrific actor and adds a whole different dimension to the show with his Henry portrayal.

Will we meet in April at ATWT luncheon?  I hope so.  In the meantime, happy watching!

Good heavens, I miss one week and look what happens, LOL!  Jo, I work full time and simply have no time to watch every show every week, but I have enjoyed the few I've watched.  I am still in mourning for GL, but I need to have a "story" to follow.  Plus, y'all seem like a pleasant bunch to hang with!

Been there, done that.  I worked full-time for years while I raised four children, then was care giver for my husband for twelve years.  Now I'm old and retired, and, more than that, I now have the internet and Tv service with a DVR.  But, good luck with catching up from time to time.  I know it's not easy, but ask for help, and someone will jump in.  I think this group is awesome and Trent, with his side-kick, jes (Jill), make it even more fun!

P.S.  I watched Guiding Light for a number of years early on when Papa Bauer, Meta and company were the stalwarts and then from time to time  as my schedule would allow.. I watch ATWT because  I've followed and enjoyed it for so long, and I'm  fearful it may be the next to go.  That is now the only soap story I follow closely.

We'll talk later.

I'm fourth generation GL -- my great grandmother listened to it on radio, then my grandmother and mother began with radio and moved on to tv.  I watched it when I was really little -- I remember when Rick was "Freddie" and I liked it that there was a kid on the show.  :D  My kids also watched, so we had 5 generations of GL viewers when it ended.  So "following a story," as my grandmother would say, is in my blood.

karen, i'm the same way with atwt. i'm the 4th generation atwt watcher in my family, and we just call it "the story." my grandma started watching it when it started in 1956, but gave it up several years ago for y&r. but a few of us still hold on!

back to the original question, i too am a katie and henry fan. first of all, it's so obvious that trent and terri are good friends and have worked together for years, they have such an easy and natural chemistry as henry and katie. and katie and henry have always loved and supported each other despite each other's flaws and mistakes. i think if katie realized/decided that she loved henry as more than just a friend, he would meet her there in a heartbeat.

but i love vienna too and want her to have a place on the show too!
