Although it doesn't fit into the mood of the present ATWT story-line, I think it would be great if those of us who can (in good conscience), would give our support to the Yankees in the upcoming games. As a die-hard Cubs fan, I will be rooting for Trent's favorite team. It would be wonderful to root for a winner for a change! Go Yankees!
Trent is a wonderful, talented, multifaceted, actor whom I completely enjoy but I have lived in Massachusetts nearly all of my life. This is Red Sox country. Cheering for the Yankees here is a cardinal sin. I can cheer for Uncle Henry.
i will begrudgingly and with little enthusiasm say "go yankees," but only for trent and because my twins are no longer in it. i probably won't watch much of the series, baseball ended for me two weeks ago and won't start again for four months. ah, spring training, when anything looks possible in the warm florida sunshine! :)
Well, I couldn't care less about baseball, but to tip the scales here, I'll throw my lot in with the Yankees. I do have a sentimental attachment to that team, so I quietly root for them.
JO.......This is a lovely, sweet and thoughtful idea on your part. Again, let me say, Trent is an incredible part of ATWT. I can cheer him on any day and every day.
Absolutely, Jo, this is all in good fun. If you live in Red Sox/Yankees land, this is just part of October, LOL! It is a unique rivalry that goes back to Babe Ruth times.
I think we are gonna lose Jason Bay to the Yankees, But with that said, I wouldn't have searched and found Trent's site if I didn't think he was a good actor...
Now I know I'm not the sports fan many of you are (the Cubs are my only team), so I'm not subject to the strong loyalties that many of you share.
Suffice it to say, I am sitting in front of the TV with my computer on my lap, watching the Yankees in a very thrilling game. In the bottom of the 7th, the score is in favor of the Yankees, 2 to 1 with one on first, one on third and no outs!
I hope Trent's work schedule is such that he can enjoy the series games.
