He full name is Captain Morgan of Kirkland Manor. When we named him, my kids said thats a girls name, referencing Morgan Fairchild. I told them that Morgan Freeman might disagree! LOL
I went through the same thing Karen, When I named my daughter my dad keep saying it was a man's name, and I told him that it was for either now. When she started school she told him there was another Morgan in her class and he asked her if that Morgan was a boy or a girl and she said " Its a girl" and she kinda looked at him like he had 3 heads, so I got a giggle.
