Finally got caught up!

As of the moment, I am completely current on ATWT.  I missed some episodes from a while back, but I've seen everything from at least the last three weeks or so.  It's a struggle because I don't get any TV at my house, so I can't record the show like I used to, but rather have to watch it online from my office (since I also don't have internet at home).

Anyway, I just sat and watched the last four episodes I needed to see to get caught up, and they were great.  Most particularly, my two favorite guys -- Michael and Trent -- have been knocking it out of the park.

They both had me crying my eyes out for a while there, and then luckily, our dear Henry came through in the clutch with some welcome comic relief!

So, I'd bawl my eyes out through all the Jack scenes, and then dry my eyes and laugh hysterically through the Henry scenes!

I won't get to watch the show on the day it airs very often, but hopefully I won't get too far behind again.

We have been enjoying an abundance of emotionally rich performances  for quite a while.  I'm loving the ride.  Poor Jack!  He wrenches your heart every time he's on the screen!  Michael P. is completely incredible.  Trent is totally wonderful every time he turns around and he is a full part of the show now.  Brad's death is a heart breaker across the show.  Terri C. is great.  Liberty's pregnancy story yanked on a whole lot of strings.  Mick Hazen has really grown into his role as Parker.  Janet drives me nuts with her well intentioned, overbearing maternal attitudes.  She is so good at it!  ........  Ahhh yes Amanda!  I know what you are feeling.  It's way better than 6 Flags!  BTW, are there any job openings at your place?  I'd love to have a job where I could watch my soap, chat in my forum and get paid all that while with no apparent consequence lurking behind the boss's door.

AND:  Carly is back!

Ditto to Ruffles evaluations--it just seems to get better and better.  We need to let TPTB know how we feel--especially since November 10 marks Trent's 10th Anniversary of having first appeared on ATWT.  Let's send cards and e-mails!

lots of tears in oakdale lately! everyone's been doing a great job with the meaty storylines.

i have to admit, i watch soaps at work sometimes too. but my job is very left brain, and watching soaps is very right brain, so i have no trouble doing both at the same time. :)

(but seriously, no tv?!)

Nope, no TV at all for me, jes. When the digital transition took place, I went dark. And yes, I did go out way in advance and get the converter box and got one of my tech-savvy friends to hook it up for me, at which point we learned that I live in a black hole where no digital service can reach. So, I unhooked the box and went about my business with my two fuzzy channels until the transition was complete and I was left in the dark.

Sad, isn't it?

I have only one option for cable, and their cheapest package is $50/month, which I am not willing to pay when I only ever watch two channels -- especially when those are channels I should get for free!

So, for now, I just watch ATWT, NUMB3RS, and GLEE on the internet, and my friend Jessica lets me come over on Monday nights for ONE TREE HILL and BIG BANG THEORY.

The only thing I can't watch at all is THE MENTALIST, because they don't put that show online. So, I'll just wait until it's released on DVD and get it from Netflix. I would also like to find what greedy executives decided it cuts into their profit margin to put full episodes online and kick them in the face.

i love GLEE, it's my fave new show of the season! with so many shows on the net these days, you almost don't need a tv. although i just got a new 32 inch tv, quite an upgrade from my 13 year old 19 inch, so i'm enjoying that.

i'm a statistician, so i do a lot of programming type stuff that only requires the left half of my brain. :)
