Alexandre Bilodeau's gold medal win in the men's moguls is fabulous. I swear the Canadian cheering could be heard all the way here in Massachusetts! What a joyful thrill.
It was a wonderful win, and he seems like such a nice, caring young fellow. His win also guaranteed a bronze for Byron Wilson. Canada can now relax since we've finally won a gold at our own games.
Hannah Kearney's win was an amazing run last night too. The pressure on the athlete's knees in those mogul runs is mind boggling! One commentator remarked that it was no wonder than no one has ever repeated as gold medalists.
