i'm really enjoying the good (?) doctor oliver. he's kind of like henry was when he first came to town - the outsider who can get away with making snarky comments (like dr. bob's dementia!) about the citizens of oakdale. and he's starting to show a human side with katie, which is good too.
reid is played by eric sheffer stevens, with whom trent has worked before. they were both in a production of "misalliance" at center stage in baltimore in 2003. we even had a reception for trent and fans before one of the shows. you can check it out here: http://www.trentdawson.com/theater_misalliance.htm
