Winter still here is South GA: 34 degrees this morning, gale winds (20+ mph), windchill 22. Tomorrow morning forcast at 29. The poor trees are so confused, red maples have all their buds and the azaleas are already trying to bloom, yesterdays high was 71 and beautiful; todays high expected at 49 with gale winds. Mother nature is REALLY confused!!

I got my wish and it got into the 40's today -- OK, 41, but STILL!! I saw a robin in a tree. Last night at midnight, Kayla decided there was something suspicious in the backyard. I thought she had to go potty, but she ran outside and got fixated on a great horned owl. I couldn't see it, but I could hear it "whooo whooing" up in a tree. The critters are waking up and I'm ready for some sunshine!
