Thank you all for your kind wishes. I've been away at a retreat with my sewing group, doing a ton of sewing between wonderful meals and lots of laughs. Due to circumstances at home, I had to return each evening but made sure I was back for breakfast every morning.
My family was very generous providing me with a new cell phone, smaller than the brick I used to use, although it has so many features, I'm not sure it actually can be used to make calls. My all time favourites, Simon and Garfunkel are here for their 'Old Friends Tour' in April and they got tickets for me. I can't wait! The nicest thing of all was a great framed photo of my five grandchildren. How they got those five wigglers together and still enough for a photo makes me smile just thinking about it.
I managed to bring home a bug from the retreat and wasn't able to do dinner last night so we've arranged to have a family dinner next weekend. I love birthdays that carry on...
