We're in the heavy zone again. Worst case scenario, 3.6 inches in 24 hours which I'm thinking would not be good. I'll check the basement before work and I plan to buzz home at lunch to take a peek. We put the two working pumps back down in the basement and Charlie's got the cords rigged up ready to go. The water table is still just under my house, so I'm a tad nervous.
How can you know the level of the water table? It's in the ground ....... unless it rises up out of the ground and into your cellar. Do you have a divining rod?
Since it just stopped coming up on Saturday morning, it can't be too far down there. Also our radon abatement pipe is making strange gurgling noises. And did you see my FB comment about the duck wading at the end of my driveway? All in all, not good omens, LOL!
