Watching the Pops right now. Kevin is somewhere in the crowd. The wife of my school's music teacher is playing in the flute section. If you're watching, she's a young woman with strawberry blond hair pulled back in what looks like a pony tail.
We went to our town fireworks on Friday night. Tonight Lexington had a reading of the Declaration of Independence by "Rev. Jonas Clark." I was actually really moved, especially the famous beginning and the names at the end. I was persuaded, lol!

Happy Independence Day!~ I'm watching Macy's fireworks while I wait for CBS to put the Boston Pops on... so I'm up past my bedtime tonight. I don't think I'd be getting to sleep anytime soon anyways since the neighbors are all shooting stuff off...
Ohhh, you have the Boston Pops! Lucky you! Kevin Rhodes is our conductor so when you mentioned the pops and said Kevin was in the crowd, it made me stop and think at first. LOL!
The reading of the Declaration of Independence must have been nice.
Light: We won't send any messages your way too early tomorrow. It's up to your kitty how late you get to sleep in.
I'm enjoying the Capital Fourth concert. I was flipping channels when I saw Jimmy Smits and that was enough to get my attention. The music is wonderful. It looks like a lovely warm evening in your capital.
The Boston Pops concert is next.
Shhh, let light sleep.

LOL, I was up early as usual, the computer was sleeping so I missed this yesterday ;) :) I usually wake up before the kitties- and it doesn't matter what time I go to bed, I still wake up at the first light of dawn on the horizon, between 5 and 5:15 (and that is in spite of window darkening shades) Sometimes, if I'm lucky, I can go back to bed and sleep a while longer- kitties are good and will just roll over and go back to sleep too :) How lucky I am!~
Yep, the different broadcast shows had some great fireworks for the 4th :)
