Hi, Ruffles--and thanks for all you've done to keep us together.
I just got back from a couple of weeks in New Jersey with my daughter and her family. We were fortunate enough to see Trent's new play and talk with him afterwards. He is a very gifted actor on the boards, as well as screen. It was a lovely time although Barb (HenryGal) and I were still discussing the play days afterwards and decided the playwright could have done a little more to fill us in on the depth of relationships (or maybe he meant them to be the way they were).
At any rate, the ride out through Pensylvania was lovely, but the drive back to Indiana both yesterday and today was a lot of fog and rain and big trucks spraying sheets of rain to hamper visability. I thank God for perseverance on the road and safe arrival home! I am quite ready for a good night's sleep and then tomorrow I celebrate my 82nd birthday with a dinner party at a friend's house.
It just doesn't seem right to not have ATWT to look forward to each day but we still have lots of years of memories! Take care of yourself and "Thanks" again.
Our friendships started mainly because of Guiding Light. Just because our beloved soap has closed its doors doesn't mean our friendships have ended as well. FAR FROM IT! We can still talk about our favorite soap friends. We definitely want to keep up to date with them. I would love to hear all of what you have to say about Trent. So would some others.
AND.....If there is anyone else here who wants to stay connected with us in friendship, please come over to be with us in our new TSY.
